24C. Service Dog Training available Worldwide

Get training help for your service dog no matter where you are in the world!

I am now offering 30 minute private training sessions via webcam for anyone who wants specific help with training their assistance dog. There is a cost for those who do not live on Vancouver Island.

All you need is a webcam with built-in mic (costs about CAN$40-60) and highspeed internet. Then you download a free video program such as Skype, Oovoo or Logitech HD vid. (Get a neighbor or local teen to help if you need it.)

This is great for those who have started to train their own service dog and got stuck or it's not going as well as you think it should.

Sometimes, just getting a fresh eye on the training can solve some seemingly big challenges. Othertimes I can explain what is the barrier to learning or break things down into smaller steps for you both to succeed. I will also explain the bigger principles (such as shaping, chaining etc) so you can apply it to training other behaviors and save yourself money! You can purchase sessions in 30 min time blocks, 2 at a time.

The benefits of online remote training are endless:
*one on one instruction
*get instant feedback about what is happening as you train and how you can tweak it to allow faster success
(delivered in a confidence-building manner)
*choose a time and day that works for you
*progress at your own rate (no set schedule for sessions)
*your dog is unstressed and not distracted in your environment-ideal for his learning
*no travelling required to get to class
*see a demo dog in the learning process
*low cost help in small time blocks as you need it

I offer packaged programs for foundation skills training and also can help you with any of the service dog skills (from mobility assistance such as a reliable retrieve, diabetic and sound alerts, etc)! You've seen how I train as you can watch the process and results through my free videos.

Visit my website for more information.

Looking forward to hearing from you soon!
